The International Computer Driving License (ICDL) program is a training & certification process that validates an individuals proficiency utilizing desktop computing applications.
The ICDL certification
process is based upon a standard worldwide Syllabus which is
developed
and maintained by the ECDL Foundation. This ensures
consistent ICDL program quality in every country of operation.
The ICDL Syllabus
has been reviewed and endorsed as a computer literacy standard
by numerous international educational institutions
and computing societies. Because the Syllabus is updated periodically,
the official version of the ICDL Syllabus is published in the Syllabus
section of the ECDL Foundation Website, which can be found at: http://www.ecdl.com.
The ICDL
certification allows everyone to document their acquired
